Four months ago today

God blessed us with Kennedy. Four months has gone by way to fast. Our son Michael brought stuff over and we had a cook out to celebrate. She has made one of the smoothest adjustments. Her english gets better everyday, she is so outgoing and sweet and the love we give her is returned 1,000 times. Sometimes I look at her and still can't beleive she is ours.
She often refers to herself in the first person and up until a couple of weeks ago she rarely would say Kennedy it was always Oanh. Oanh's mama, Oanh's daddy, Oanh's Jordan and on and on.
I look at this picture and think back to a little over a year ago when we told our family we were adopting again. Our son Cody pictured above with Kennedy was upset with us and thought we had lost our minds. He even took a couple of days to come see her after we came home. But it took like 2 minutes and he was in love! He picks her up and takes her on errands or to his house. He is a waiter at On The Border and trust me everyone knows Kennedy. We have a lunch date every Wednesday. The whole staff dotes on her and Cody just beams with pride. Even our oldest son Michael thought we were a little off our rocker but once he met her he fell for her. Now Dustin and our daughters Jordan and Cameron were all for the adoption.
She is such a gift from God. We can't imagine our lives without her. She is ours to love and spoil forever!

She's such a cutie! I'm glad she was up at the office the other day so that she and Sarah could play. Your whole family is beautiful. Congratulations on your son's graduation, too.
